We must say, it was really difficult to find dirt or mud. Tidy Egyptians did their job really well! We had to crawl under trees, only there we could find wet earth. That day we decided to go to the Old Market. When we saw some handmade bracelets, we decided to try them on. All the sellers started to shout: “Come here, try this!” and put the bracelets on our hands. But we said: “No, we don’t need it for that. We want bracelets for out feet!”

The girls decided to explore the surroundings. They roamed everywhere around the hotel without shoes. People around were very agitated with this sight and welcomed the girls to their shops.

In the afternoon we went to Naama Bay, a modern quarter of Sharm El Sheikh. Everybody, really everybody was looking at us, pointed fingers at out feet and asked in a broken English or Russian: “Why This?” We laughed and gave various replies, like: “Well, we had to sell our last shoes to get money for thie trip”, or “We are pilgrims, so we have to walk like this”.

This time the girls, that came to the meeting with our photographer, were not aware of what was them waiting. The fact, that they had to walk without shoes on the snow, was a surprise for them. For the girls it was their first time, when they walked without shoes in winter. For one of the girls this experience turned out to be too heavy.

Three girls began this chilly photosession and only two of them continued to walk barefoot on the snow. It is obvious, that barefoot walking on the snow is only for brave girls, that are not affraid to froze their feet. Russian winter is quite merciless for defendless skin.

After a long walk along the cold winter street, Ella's feet became frozen and red. To make them warm and to have a rest, the girl went to a shop. The floor in the shop was much warmer, then the cold and slushy asphalt. And soon Ella was ready to continue her barefoot walk in the snow.

After leaving the metro, Julia went to the street. The asphalt was pleasantly warm and she felt even little warm pebbles with her bare soles. Soon her feet turned black with dirt and dust. The photographer managed to make excellent close-up pics of Julia's dusty soles.

Afrer we had examined all the sightseenings in the centre, we went to Vasilyevskiy ostrov, as we heard that there were some interesting merry-go-rounds there. We had walked a lot, but didn't find any attractions. But instead we found a museum of the military weapons. Some objects of the excibition were on the open air and we seized an occasion to take photos there too.

As we arrived quite early to Saint Peterburg, Oksana didn't had enough time in the train to make a make-up. So we had to have a little stop in a park.

To kill the time and to enjoy Saint Peterburg, we chose one of the longest streets - Nevskiy prospect. Here we could not only enjoy magnificent pieces of architecture and gaze at the shopwindows, but also sometimes roll to a cozy little yard or to enter a dark and dusty porch. Soon our feet became quite dirty and the passers-by looked with interest at two girls without shoes.

To our amazement, the weather in Piter was sunny and warm and we had no problems with walking without shoes. We decided to have a walk along the streets of this beautiful city. But first of all we had to have a breakfast, so we went to the nearest cafe to have a cup of coffee with cakes.
